Clarence Cabreros has been a banker for the last 17 years and is now semi-retired working part time consulting with builders in their loan workouts with banks.  As a banker, his last role as Senior Vice President/Manager of the Real Estate Industries Group for Rabobank, NA (formerly Mid-State Bank & Trust), Clarence and his staff originated, underwrote, and managed a $300 million real estate loan portfolio consisting of residential subdivision construction loans and commercial real estate construction and term loans. Clarence started in the industry as an intern from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. During his career, Clarence has financed the construction of over 2,000 homes in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. Clarence has been on the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Home Builders Association for 9 years. Clarence grew up in the Arroyo Grande area where he and his wife Julia and their daughter, Isabel, still live today.
